Monday – Measurement

Dilation refers to:

  1. sliding a figure.
  2. enlarging or reducing a figure.

  3. flipping a figure.

  4. turning a figure.

 


 

Tuesday – Geometry

A polygon is:

  1. a simple closed figure.
  2. a triangle, quadrilateral, pentagon, etc.
  3. a two-dimensional figure formed by three or more line segments.
  4. all of the above are true.

 


 

Wednesday – Statistics and Probability

A prediction is:

  1. an educated guess about what will happen.
  2. when you roll the dice to see what will happen next.
  3. an edition of a book that comes out before the book is placed in libraries.
  4. when a very talented person makes spoons bend by looking at them.

 


 

Thursday – Calculations and Estimations

A quotient is:

  1. the answer in an addition problem.
  2. the answer in a multiplication problem.
  3. the answer (other than the remainder) in a division problem.
  4. the answer in a subtraction problem.

 


 

Friday – Algebraic Relationships

A variable is:

  1. when you are very, very excited, you should use variable and say, “I am variable excited.”
  2. a quadrilateral with only one pair of parallel sides.
  3. something arranged up and down.
  4. a symbol used to represent an unknown number, usually a lower case letter: y, x, n, a
