Monday – Geometry

A closed figure is:

  1. a figure shaped like a U.
  2. a figure where you can’t get to the outside from the inside without going over a line.
  3. a figure where all the lines share one vertex (like a Y).
  4. two endpoints and the straight path between them.

 


 

Tuesday – Measurement

The perimeter of a closed figure refers to:

  1. the surface area of a three-dimensional figure.
  2. the number of tiles it takes to cover the figure.
  3. the distance around the figure – as if you were “fencing” the object.
  4. the number of kilometers a figure weighs.

 


 

Wednesday – Statistics and Probability

A simulation is:

  1. the process of “acting out” a problem.
  2. when you flip a shape over.
  3. when you find two shapes that are similar.
  4. when you rotate a shape.


 

Thursday – Calculations and Estimations

Even numbers:

  1. have two factors: 1 and the number itself.
  2. are evenly divisible by 2.

Friday – Algebraic Relationships

An arithmetic pattern:

  1. is made by adding or subtracting the same number to get the next number in a sequence.

  4. the correct answer is not given.
